Not going crazy yet!

I am 3 days into bed rest and so far, so good. I have been able to see how truly blessed I am in the past three days, more so than I ever have and I feel so grateful.
I was devastated when I heard the words "bed rest" this time around. I knew what it meant...endless days of laying around, doing nothing, trying to pass the day away. It is sad when you are alone, because the "what if's" start, "what if I do all of this and she doesn't make it" "what if she does make it, but still comes too early and has life long problems?" "what if this causes problems in my marriage?" "what if my kids are affected negatively by this?" "what if...what if....what if"
Nights of aching legs because they aren't used at all anymore. Every muscle in your body deteriorating, because it isn't being used anymore...bed rest is painful emotionally as well as physically.
Long gone are my days of cute maternity clothes, now I am in Tshirts and boxers. I am not aloud to stand long enough to blow dry or straighten my hair, so it is in a pony tail, and lucky if it is washed. No make up, just a plain , fat girl, in grubby clothes, with frizzy hair.

I can not even begin to express how touched I have been by everyone's willingness to help this time. My parents/grandparents have taken the kids for a night for a sleepover, cooked us dinner, brought us dessert...twice, and brought me a recliner chair, so I would have a different choice in positions for the next three months.
My sister, is amazing, she took my kids shopping to finalize their halloween costumes and organized a meal calendar for us. This week Nate only has to worry about dinner on the weekend. During the week, we will be surprised each night when a new meal arrives. I am SO touched by this.
My amazing husband, put in a dog door this weekend, so I don't have to get up to let the dogs out. He has done everything for the kids. Makes my meals, waits on me hand and foot and never complains about it. Here is my little surprise I woke up to this morning ...
I have a little mini-fridge right next to the couch stocked with snacks, my lunch for the day and lots of water. He doesn't want me getting up for anything...except for the bathroom.

My friend Kelley has vistited and brought me my FAV, her homemade popcorn.

My friend Lindsey visited today with her beautiful kiddos Peyton and Brooklyn (see Brookie below). They brought me lunch, and stayed for three hours. Lindsey did some dishes and cleaned the bathroom, while I laid one the couch with Miss Brooklyn sleeping on my chest. Before I knew it the day was almost over and Rylee was going to be home soon.Thank you! Thank you! to everyone who is helping us out...I am so blessed!
