After the tournament was over we headed out of Ft. Collins and decided to have lunch in Denver to plan out the next week of our vacation. We decided to stay the night in Denver again, like we did last year and catch a Rockies game. We love Denver and have so much fun there!
This year we got to sit in right field of Coors Stadium to watch fireworks…super cool! The kids got 3-d glasses to watch the show.
After our night in Denver we drove to Durango for two nights. The drive to Durango was the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen!
In Durango we found a lake and went fishing one day.
We met some friends in Durango for dinner and found the coolest candy store!
After Durango we headed to four corners…one of those stops you do once in your life and can say…I have been there…now I don’t need to go back
We then headed to Payson for two nights to celebrate the 4th of July.
We played and had a great day celebrating the 4th. Two elk walked up on the golf course…it was so cool. The kids and Nate got really close to them.
Our friends the Draves were in Payson and met us for fireworks.
Rylee and Ellie loved the cupcakes.
We were glad to spend Owen’s first 4th of July with him!
After almost two weeks and 2200 miles…we were ready to head home, but had such an amazing time!
