Chicago!

Finally I got this post done, it is very picture heavy! But hopefully shows the amazing time that we had.

Nate’s birthday was on the 4th of April. I had been working on a surprise for our 10 year anniversary that was on the 7th of April and I let him in on the surprise for his birthday. He has always told me since we have been together that his dream was to visit Wrigley Field. He has been a long time Chicago Cubs fan. He grew up across the street from Hohokam park where the Cubs come for Spring training.

The night of his birthday we had a Cubs themed party for him and had the family over for cake and ice cream.  DSC_0755 DSC_0756 DSC_0757 DSC_0758 DSC_0760      DSC_0767   DSC_0770  DSC_0772

We had a tour of Wrigley before the game. It was 2 hours long and so cool to be able to actually go down on the field.

The only good thing was that the beer was as cold as the weather!

The night of our anniversary we went to an amazing dinner on the 70th story in downtown Chicago.

This was the view from our table while it was still light out.
